How to Vote by Absentee Ballot

Absentee Voting & How to Request an Absentee Ballot

Casting an absentee ballot is convenient and secure.

Eliot voters wishing to obtain an absentee ballot and vote from home can order their ballots now by one of three options:

  1. Order electronically through the Maine Online Absentee Ballot Request Service

  2. By completing and signing an Absentee Ballot Application (PDF). Voters are encouraged to mail it or deliver it directly to the Town Clerk's Office.

  3. Call the Town Clerk's Office at 207-439-1817 to request an absentee ballot.

Please consider requesting and returning your ballots early!
