2026 Democratic State Convention
Pursuant to Chapter 500.2 of the Maine Democratic Party Charter, the Chair of
the Maine Democratic State Committee hereby calls the State Convention of
the Maine Democratic Party to meet on May 1, 2026 through May 2, 2026 in
the Greater Portland area (*specific location to come soon in a supplemental
communication) for the following purposes:
To review the Charter of the Maine Democratic Party.
To elect the 2026-2028 Democratic State Committee and to
approve its Bylaws.
To review and adopt the 2026-2028 Platform of the Maine
Democratic Party.
To transact any other business that may properly come before the
State Convention.
